Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on a beach close to the bassin d’arcachon in the south wesh of France

Time

During a night full of stars

Lighting

I wanted to show this piers in the foreground with the Milky Way above the beach and the forest.

Equipment

I used a Nikon d5300 with a tamron 10-24 wide angle. In order to allow a long exposure I used a manfrotto tripod

Inspiration

I like milky way pictures and I always wanted to catch it from a beach.

Editing

Milky Way shots need a tons of post processing to lighten the star and increase clarity to get the right contrast and colour of the sky

In my camera bag

I used to carry my camera with a wide angle lens and zoom lens (usually 70-300mm).

Feedback

I set my camera to long exposure with the wide aperture available and a 30s exposure time.
