On the second-to-last morning of my most recent Connecticut trip, I headed out for one final day of shooting during my stay in Connecticut. The air was cold, crisp, and more clear than I'd seen since I'd got up there a month prior. While tracking a mockingbird across the sky, I noticed a brilliant waning gibbous moon surrounded by a sapphire sky. So, I made a few quick adjustments, and I shot the moon.

600mm, handheld, about two hours after sunrise.
