Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Pismo Beach, CA. I took this photo of my husband and son while they were enjoying the sunset. I've always LOVED this photograph and it is framed and hung up in our house.

Time

This was taken at around 7:00pm in September 2016.

Lighting

Lighting will save you in Photography. Always practice at different times of the day to capture what you're looking for. Looking for Golden Hour Photography in the summer? Start photographing at around 6:30pm.

Equipment

I used a Canon 5d Mark iii body and a Canon 24-105mm f4 LII IS USM Lens.

Inspiration

The intimate moment between the 2 looking at the sunset was a picture perfect moment. I was so excited to capture this stunning photo!

Editing

I always post process my photos before I show them to the world. I use Adobe Lightroom most of the time, which is what I used to edit this photo.

In my camera bag

Canon 5d Mark iii body along with a 24-105mm F/4 L II IS USM Lens, a Canon EF 70-200 F/2.8 IS II USM Lens and a Canon 24-70mm F/2.8 L II Lens.

Feedback

Having patience and also being at the right place at the right time is always key. Lighting is everything in photography.
