This photo was on a somber day in the winter, Peanut is her name and she was just relaxing the day away watching the birds outside on the back side of the sofa. I decided to take a minute and get a close up of her eyes in the sunlight.Time
It was during a crisp late morning, sun was shining and bluest skies as far as the eye can see.Lighting
Not really. Was just a random shot, really didn’t think it would turn out, but it surprised me.Equipment
Nikon D5000, lense used was a AF-S VR Nikkor 70-300 1:4.5-5.6 GInspiration
I love pet photography, especially when they are more then cooperative with the camera and myself. And mainly because she was so beautiful sitting there so calm and quiet.Editing
I used a color burst to make her black and white, but yet have her natural eye color still pop on the B&W background of her fur.In my camera bag
Just my Nikon D5000 and my AF-S VR Nikkor 70-300 1:4.5-5.6 G extra charged batteries and charger.Feedback
Just catch the moments that show up out of the blue, the moments that surprise you when least expected.
