She played a big role in raising and educating me when I was a child. I admit, although she lives close, I didn’t visited often enough and I’ve been thinking about that for a while. I mean she practically raised me when my mother was working nights and I even stayed with her for a few years in my birth town until we all moved in a different city, where we live now. That was about 20 years ago. So this Chirstmas I’ve decide to take her portrait. She turned 80 recently and I wanted to do it then, but I postponed it for no real reasons, until now. It’s been an emotional experience, the photoshoot and the editing process, and made me think about making her life happier while I still have the chance. So here she is, the woman who raised me a big part of my life and who I owe so much.
