Location

Awash national park in Ethiopia

Time

After lunch about 1:30 pm

Lighting

The sunlight was pretty harsh, but it works alright for this type of wild animal pic

Equipment

I was shooting out of a Toyota Land Cruiser window with a Sony a7rii with a 400mm lens with a 2* teleconverter

Inspiration

I had seen some tiny deer in the park but they were very skittish, this oryx stood quite still for long enough for a decent shot

Editing

No didn’t think it needed anything done to it

In my camera bag

Two a7rii’s, a 50mm lens, a 16 - 35mm Lens, a 400mm lens with 2* teleconverter, a couple of nd filters, extra batteries and memory cards

Feedback

If your in a car like I was and you have a little bit of room on the seat, then have a camera with zoom lens ready out of the bag beside you, just so your ready for anything
