Shot from my hotel room, the horseshoe falls is world-famous, and rightly so. This is a panorama stitched from 6 photos, necessary because there was so much to capture.

The falls have so much water plummeting down at intense speeds that the spray has enough energy to rise all the way up and form its own cloud - that's what you're seeing in this photo. This was captured close to sunset, so the water shimmered a light gold, yet turned to aqua immediately when it went over the edge . I loved the contrast in colours, paired with the ridiculous cloud the fall was forming.
