I've been to Utah's Factory Butte several times, but once the late afternoon light illuminated it between storms.

Burney Falls in Northern California is a bit out of the way, but deserves to be better known. Worth a little side trip to see this one.

I tripped in the dark to get this, but the Gitzo and Canon survived and my scrapes healed in a week.

A great Christmas present would be a trip to White Pocket AZ in Vermillion Cliffs
