Behind The Lens

Location

This phot was taken near a small lake on the base of the mountain. Near a hike trail. There were a lot of people hiking so I had to wait until there were no persons in my viewfinder.

Time

It was a sunny summerday in 2017 with a little bit of clouds. This picture was taker round about 3 pm.

Lighting

Because the sun was shining I didn't need extra lights to make tis picture. Pure natural light was used.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D750 with 24/70mm sigma lens and a Hoya polarized filter to make the water and sky more blue.

Inspiration

I was hiking the trail an saw the beautiful lake with the mountain behind it. So that when I thought this is a beautiful shot.

Editing

I've taken multiple shots from left to right with my camera in a little tripod. The pictures in standing position. In photoshop stitch them together to 1 panorama.

In my camera bag

When I hike I have a light pack pack wit my trusted D750 an my 24/70 mm sigma lens and the sigma 70/300 with is good for far away focus and macro. Also an extra battery and a Manfrotto travel tripod.

Feedback

Be patient wait until it is calm and there are no people in the frame. That makes a whole different ambiance to this picture.
