The Serpent Mother lives. Beakernight took place at Fort Calgary in Calgary, Alta. Canada on the night of Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017 as a part of Calgary's annual science and entertainment festival, Beakerhead. One of the most notable attractions at this year's Beakerhead festival was the Serpent Mother, a giant mechanical-fire-spitting snake by the Las Vegas, Nev. based art and science collective The Flaming Lotus Girls.
