Behind The Lens

Location

My sister and I were walking through the Healing Garden near our home, taking pictures of all the beautiful flowers growing there.

Time

It was near noon in September. We were surprised to see many flowers so late in the season.

Lighting

The picture was taken in natural lighting without a flash.

Equipment

I have an LG phone with an automatic setting that I used to take the picture.

Inspiration

I enjoy taking pictures in nature. I am an amateur photographer and am learning to use a Canon digital camera. It is easy to be inspired at the Healing Garden. There is beauty everywhere you look.

Editing

No post-processing.

In my camera bag

I have a Sony Cybershot that I have with me most of the time, along with my LG cellphone. I have even used the camera on my Kindle in some instances. I recently purchased a Canon Rebel that I am learning to use.

Feedback

The only advice I feel qualified to give is that nature rarely disappoints, so keep your eyes open and watch for those photo opportunities.
