I wanted to incorporate a long exposure of light somehow in an image. Most people do the cliche of writing their name in the air, or drawing a smily face. I wanted to do something different. By seeing the pencil, their eyes follow the beam of light to the butterfly, which appears to be flying off the page. I took another light source and flashed it quickly to light up the pencil and butterfly. No photoshop was used.

I took this photo in the early morning when I was in Australia last year. I was so happy with how it turned out, and the views were breathtaking!

I did this by using my phones flash and moved it around the bottle to make it look like it was filling up.
