This is the beautiful Christmas alter in St. Peter's Cathedral. The Cathedral of St. Peter in Regensburg is considered the most important Gothic building in all of Bavaria. There’s been a church on this site (fire claimed some of the early churches) as far back as 700 AD. Taken on December 8, 2017 on my tour of the German Christmas markets.
