I do not have anything for the pro's or advanced to say here but for beginners. Photography is only possible because of light. We see what is illuminated in darkness. For outdoors therefore, the time of day and even time of the year decides the kind of lighting available. Overcast conditions can work to your advantage depending on what results you are after. I prefer to avoid artificial lighting such as a flash for natural shots. For me, Flash photography is a more complicated lesson to learn. There is everything to learn but even the pro photographer loves a challenge and therefore there is always something to learn from experimenting. Above all, enjoy it.Equipment
Nikon DSLR D7200, with Nikkor 18-200, hand held from approx' 10-15 metres.Inspiration
Our oceans are a major component of the earth's eco-system. We must be mindful and controlled with what we take from it and what we spill into it. When I saw this spot, the green growth on the stones, on the edge of the Indian which the local Fisheries Dep't monitors as a pristine stretch of water right up to Ningaloo, made me think of the oceans as the womb of essential life and how humans have a choice to not interfere with it or destroy it!Editing

Never leave home without your camera, you never know what you come across. If there is an interesting moment with interesting content, take lots of pics with your best settings, you can find frames within the big picture when you are editing. But you already knew all that didn't you. LOL!
