I have a weak spot for old cars, trucks and airplanes and especially old airplanes I've had the pleasure of flying. My old RCAF 416 Squadron had an ole' P-51 that use to get dragged out and dusted off for special events. You've rekindled some of those old memories in this magnificant picture. It looks like a twin seater trainer model.

I used the nose of the Betty Jane to frame a sunset shot when she was in College Station, TX. A B-17 formed the right side of the frame. Nice picture here. I like the perspective from keeping the camera low on this shot.

Looks like an early model - P-51A perhaps - originally powered by an under-perforning Allison engine this one certainly looks to be pre-Merlin that were built under licence by Packard

I've always had a soft spot for the Mustang. It was a fighter from a time before mine. Mine was flying jets, but still. Thank you for this shot.
