I have a weak spot for old cars, trucks and airplanes and especially old airplanes I've had the pleasure of flying. My old RCAF 416 Squadron had an ole' P-51 that use to get dragged out and dusted off for special events. You've rekindled some of those old memories in this magnificant picture. It looks like a twin seater trainer model.

I have always linked the P51 and the Corsair . They're fast very maneuverable and a deadly opponent!

I truly like the way you've isolated this subject while retaining some minor objects in the background. It gives your photograph depth and perspective but doesn't over shadow. The night lighting is great! Love the way you captured the battlefield scars!

I used the nose of the Betty Jane to frame a sunset shot when she was in College Station, TX. A B-17 formed the right side of the frame. Nice picture here. I like the perspective from keeping the camera low on this shot.

Looks like an early model - P-51A perhaps - originally powered by an under-perforning Allison engine this one certainly looks to be pre-Merlin that were built under licence by Packard

I've always had a soft spot for the Mustang. It was a fighter from a time before mine. Mine was flying jets, but still. Thank you for this shot.
