Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the highway in the car in Germany. We were going on holiday. I was sitting in the back with the net in the trunk and the light was beautiful.

Time

It was taken in the afternoon when the sun was between setting and the sky was completely dark.

Lighting

The lighting filters through the holes of the net.

Equipment

Just my Canon S110. There wasn't any time to use anything else, plus I didn't have any equipment back then.

Inspiration

A split-second change of mind because the light caught my eye. I didn't have my camera ready but since the car was traveling at not a fast pace on a fairly open highway with the light maintaining its color for a good few minutes, there was an opportunity to take the photo.

Editing

I did not do any. I don't use any post-processing in any of my photos because for me, it's either an original or a no-show.

In my camera bag

I don't have any equipment save my Canon S110.

Feedback

Just have your camera ready. You never know when you're going to be cruising down an open highway with perfect lighting and an object, so have it at the ready. You don't need a big camera, it's better (personally) with a smaller one since you can get closer to the object physically.
