Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken in Kazan, Russia, summer 2017. I was traveling through Russia with some friends, on motorbikes, and we were stunned by the beauty of Kazan. Still the most gorgeous city i've seen in Russia so far.

Time

I don't recall the time of day the picture was taken, most probably afternoon.

Lighting

I liked the way some of the colors of the houses get reflected in the water, and the tidiness of the location.

Equipment

Shot on Canon 60d, 24-105mm , handheld

Inspiration

The tranquility of the location, and the nice colors of the buildings.

Editing

It was processed in Photoshop. I generally adjust exposure and white balance to my suiting.

In my camera bag

ATM i am using a sony A7R II with only 2 lenses : a 35mm and a 75mm. I am now prioritizing light equipment rather than big, zoom lenses.
