This photo was taken in Raceland, Louisiana.

Time

In the afternoon. It was after lunch on Thanksgiving day.

Lighting

Wanted the afternoon lighting because it was pretty on the kids.

Nikon D3100

Inspiration

I was looking for a way to capture all of the kids for family pictures

Editing

Yes, I zoomed in a bit and decided the photo looked better in black and white.

In my camera bag

Currently I have a Nikon D740, flash, tamron 70-200mm lens, 50mm lens and Nikon 24-120mm lens

Feedback

Be fun with it. Don’t worry so much about the posing once you have the kids in the general positions you want them in. Let them have fun and be silly.
