It really is wonderful. Haven't been there since the fire. Hopefully not destroyed to much.

This is such a popular photo location and most (including me) have shot it in much the same manner. Really applaud you on a different perspective and doing it in B&W. Nicely done!

Location
This photo was taken at Multnomah Falls in Oregon. We were on a road trip along the Columbia River and came across this.Time
It was taken early afternoon in October when the trees had started to change colors.Lighting
Just what ever lighting was available. If I remember correctly it was slightly overcast.Equipment
I took this picture with a nikon D60 and the 18-55 lens it came with. It was 2009 and I had just gotten my first dslr a few months earlier.Inspiration
The falls are an incredible site and just calls to you to photograph them .Editing
Nothing special, the only thing I did was change the color picture to black and white. In my camera bag
Now I usually have my new Nikon D7200. A 18-105 lens, 70-300 lens and 40mm macro lens. A few filters, memory cards, batteries, lens cleaning things and remote trigger. Nothing overly special. I try to bring it everywhere I go just in case.Feedback
Just keep trying to improve every time you go out. Also try to remember to have a tripod with you. It's the one thing I always forget. Definitely could have come in handy a few times.
