This photo was taken on the way to Mt. Rainier National park.Time
I was coming back from a sunrise shoot on November 27th and heading towards Mt. Rainier National Park. Along the way i spotted this fella on the side of the road watching cars pass by so i had to stop and take a few portraits of this cute one.Lighting
Lighting wasn't the best to begin with. This shot was taken out of the passenger seat of the car and the little guy was in a Forrest area. I had to play around with the setting to get the best light. I ended up boosting up my shutter speed a bit to prevent blurriness, lowered my f-stop to 4.0 (the lowest my lens will allow me too) and bumped up the ISO just enough to prevent to much grain. Most of the lighting and color was brought back in post processing.Equipment
I used the canon 6D 24-105mm. This shot was taken out of my car and it was all hand held.Inspiration
I absolutely adore wildlife. Any chance i get to take picture or animals i take it. They're just so photogenic right? :)Editing
Most of my editing has to do with playing with colors and tones and my photos are processed through Light room, very rarely will i edit in Photoshop. In my camera bag
First thing that goes into my bad is my beloved canon 6D with the 24-105mm. I always carry an extra battery and extra SD cards. I Also have the Sunpak TravelLite Pro tripod that easily fits into a midsize backpack. With that i carry a few ND filters for long exposure shots, usually for waterfalls. Next i have my Phantom 4 Drone for aerials (Its alot of fun!). Last but not least, ALOT of snacks :)Feedback
I like color and most color is in the early morning or later in the evening. This does not mean you cant get good footage in the middle of the day! Just have to be a little more creative during the day time :) Its all about personal style and preference.
