This was of the Great Geysir in Southwest Iceland. Strokkur (Icelandic for churn) is a fountain geyser and located in geothermal area east of Reykjavik, beside the Hvita River. It erupts once every 6-10 mins. I caught this just as it erupted. Fascinating to watch. It was the first geyser described in printed source, and the first one known to modern Europeans
