Portrait of a young teen girl, taken in a dry riverbed, before monsoon season in Northwestern New Mexico. In a few short weeks, this Riverbed will be flowing with water and it will be impassable, making it impossible for this picture to happen. In the background is the only bridge that spans this canyon. It is a one lane bridge and is used only during monsoon, any other time, it is safe to drive across the riverbed.
