Behind The Lens

Location

The photo I taken in Australia, Outback, 2.10.2017... that is view Katata Tjuta Sun set

Time

this was 2.10.2017 time circa 9.30 pm Australia zone time

Lighting

I was absolutely fascinated by the natural light of the setting sun, the photo was taken while standing in the desert dunes very close to Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Ayers Rock Resort

Equipment

That was a shot Nikon D7100 , ISO 100, 1/1250 sec. f/9 105 mm, only UV filter, lens AF-S Nikon VR 18-105 mm 3,5-5,6 G ED

Inspiration

Traveling to Australia and touching Uluru was one of my greatest life dreams, it came true after 55 years since it appeared .... It's worth dreaming :) What I saw during the three-week trip exceeded my wildest expectations ... Now I have a dream to come back once ...

Editing

no, this is the original photo

In my camera bag

during this trip I had a Nikon D7100 camera with me, and two Nikkor 18-105 and Nikkor 70-300 lenses. There are currently three more lens: Tamron 100-400mm lenses plus a 1.4x tele converter, a Tamron macro 90mm, Nikkor 50mm, UV filters, ND filters, and lens reversing rings for macro photography

Feedback

Surely a tripod, light meter and a very useful camera remote to release the shutter remotely, it helps a lot to capture the unique light
