Location
We were hunting in the Catherine Creek area above the La Grande valley, Oregon last fall. I was riding up the hill above camp, stopping every so often to take pictures and these guys were on the side of the road. The curl of the larger spine just seemed to be beckoning me over. I'm still new to photography and my camera so there is very little, if any, adjustments on the photo.Time
This was late afternoon, not yet sunset.Lighting
Just natural lighting.Equipment
I used my Canon Powershot. Handheld, no tripod or other equipment. Although riding on the 4-wheeler I do typically have my camera attached to a binocular harness for security.Inspiration
I've always loved the look of teasels, and the curl on the spine just appealed to me.Editing
I don't actually recall, I really on use the lighting and contrast adjustments, occasionally color as well. But I think this might be as taken. In my camera bag
My camera and harness, extra batteries, charger and I usually have a tripod in the truck.Feedback
Just take pictures of what you love. The more you enjoy it, the more someone else will!
