Bristle Cone Pine Milky Way

Me and my wife camped in the Bristle Cone Pine Forest, and planned the trip so that the Milky Way was most visible and there was a new moon. We hiked up to the tree during the day to find it, and then came back at around 9pm at night to get the shot. I used an off camera flash with a warming gel filter on it.
