Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at a local park. This place is one of my go to places frequently.

Time

This photo was taken in late afternoon

Lighting

I prefer natural light photography especially later in the afternoon or early evening.

Equipment

I used a canon rebel T6 with a 70-200mm lens. No flash was needed for this image.

Inspiration

I really liked the path with all the surrounding trees. I decided to have my subject lay on the path at an angle that I could see the path in the background.

Editing

My original idea changed slightly once I started post processing. I used a leaf overlay and added some autumn colors. Then I added the reflection and absolutely loved the results.

In my camera bag

I usually have a 50mm, 85mm, 70-200mm, flash with diffuser and several filters. And of course extra batteries.

Feedback

The best shots for me are the ones that happen by accident. I had an idea in my head and was able to put it all together.
