We woke up in the middle of a snowstorm in January to the sound of snow sliding off the side of our tent. We packed up the car and quickly headed to the start of the canyon. It was about 5am when We got there so still pitch black outside. The snow turned into rain as the temperature rose and the canyon started to fill with water. We continued on our 9 mile hike and this photo was taken at the end of the day right as the sky cleared and the sun came out.
