Location
This was taken in Geelong, Australia when I was getting a tour from a friend who lives there.Time
It was taken just after the sun had set, I had no tripod so I made a triangle shape with my arm against my body to make the camera more stable. I tried to get the walk way as centred as possible which leads to multiple small shuffles sideways.Lighting
The only lighting that I had was what was left of the sun rays and the lights along the walk way. It created a 'never ending' feeling like it could take you anywhere. A feeling of infinity as the dark silhouette of land in the background lines up well with the walk way.Equipment
I used my Nikon D7100 Camera with a Sigma 18-200mm lensInspiration
From the multiple walks that I have done on the beach after sun set I had never taken my camera but this type of image was one I always wanted to capture. Something to tick off the bucket list and improve onEditing
At this time I had a vague idea on how to edit photographs so a minimal amount of editing was done.In my camera bag
Nikon D7100 Camera Sigma 18-200mm Lens 90mm Macro lens Spare battery (for the most desperate of times when your camera dies) SD port A Smart FilterFeedback
Nothing can capture the same image that the eye sees, the closest thing we have is a camera. Always have it around you'll never really appreciate having a camera in the car until you forget to take it with you.
