I was at a family vacation to see three national parks (Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon) plus a detour to see Horseshoe bend and Antelope Canyon. The Lower Antelope Canyon is where I shot this.Time
It was about 4ish so which was a perfect time for pictures in the canyon.Lighting
The lighting was perfect in the canyon since it was the afternoon so the light wasn’t too bright as it shined through the canyonEquipment
Believe it or not I like to use simple equipment so I shot it with Sony camera. I don’t like to edit my photos very much so what you see is like a 95% unedited photo. I believe in taking the perfect picture the first time so I don’t have to do much editing :)Inspiration
Our tour guide said that I could get some really cool shots if I kneeled on the sand, leaned up the against the wall, and looked up. I was taking pictures for fun because I love photography.Editing
Nope! Just a point and shoot. :)In my camera bag
I just carry and extra lens with me and usually my GoPro and a back up charger for my camera. And lots, and I mean lots of SD cards. Does food count as equipment? Haha.Feedback
The best time to see the Lower Antelope Canyom is in the summer. Rain washes out the sand at the bottom of the canyon so be careful you don’t arrive during the rainy season. Don’t be afraid to get low and/or take different shots you wouldn’t normally think of. New places call for new perspectives.
