The yucca plants produce beautiful creamy white flowers in the spring which are a lot of fun to photograph but the dried seed pods that remain sometimes for over a year have their own more subtle beauty. These I found on the Eagle's Craig trail near Zion National Park. With West Temple in the background and that warm morning light on it the picture very simply says Southwest Utah.
