Just back from a fantastic field trip to NYC with my daughter. We spent a day at the Empire State Building, saw two Broadway shows, took a private tour of The Met and walked about 10-12 miles every day discussing what we had just seen or learned. Several times during the trip I had to stop myself from answering or making decisions for her. She's growing up, and the only word I can think of is...bittersweet. I shot this image on the way to Time Square and LOVE the way it perfectly captures her personality. These are the days!
