I was happily photographing an alpha male stag and it's hinds at Wollaton Hall and keeping a safe distance. Suddenly I realised the stag was charging directly towards me. My heart stopped and I moved out the way. It had spotted a young challenger behind me and was chasing the youngster off. Job done it trotted back past me to rejoin it's hinds. Despite being in shock I managed to grab this closeup as it charged past.
