Well, in a not so heavily crowded village - Nardaha in Chhattisgarh, India the men can be seen playing cards, rather gambling, during any festive season (this one was during Diwali - the festival of Lights) for the joy of winning... winning money of course. It is more like the modern day Casino being played out in the open with dim lights, chill of the night, sound of silence and excitement with friends and strangers.
