I took this photo in Mysore (India), where I went for a short vacation. There are lots of parks in the city, its pleasant to walk around and be with nature.Time
At an evening around 6.30pm, while walking through the park. I was actually looking for birds and greenery to capture but It was getting late so this was my last chance to walk near lake.Lighting
I didn't want to miss the sunset light but I missed it. Though I loved the sunlight reflection on the water and there was no space to click near river. So, I stood behind the tree and made sure I get its branches and the river in a same frame.Equipment
This was shot on Canon 6D with an 24-70mm lens.Inspiration
I didn't plan to take this picture. It was a spontaneous decision and it turned out well.Editing
I love natural colours, I rarely do post-processing. I didn't do any on this picture. Sometime I crop out unnecessary details but nothing more than that.In my camera bag

Mysore is a quiet city. You can see lots of greenery there, no traffic and meet wonderful people. It's a great place to explore and walk around. You should take long walks there and take good pictures.
