Chasing the Northern Lights in Sweden and Norway taught me a great lesson in patience and perserverance, as well as having to stand around several days in a row for long hours in sub-zero temperatures without much success. Finally that patience paid off after many nights, when I witnessed how awesome Mother Nature is as the green and purplish lights danced in front of me, above and behind me. It was an unforgettable and humbling experience. This image was taken in Svolvaer in Lofoten, Norway and will always remain deeply rooted in my memory and mind's eye.
