I wanted to create a unique viewpoint for this shot, to create the illusion of being in the scene. So, I raced up to the top of a building and waited until the crow was flying away from the camera before I took the shot. My idea was to give the viewer a tiny glimpse into a bird's life, and to show what it might be like to be a bird, flying behind a crow.
