I caught a glimpse of the tree in an abandoned field off Juban Rd. east of Baton Rouge, LA Wednesday. I did a quick U-turn and think taking the time to shoot was well-spent. 20mm Nikkor 3.5 (manual focus), Nikon D700, ISO 400.
