Haint Blue is a color found on the shutters and porch ceilings of many historic homes in coastal Georgia. According to Gullah tradition, the color is applied to ward off evil spirits. This picture was taken at the Pirate’s House in Savannah, Georgia. A location thought to be one of the most haunted in a city known for it’s ghosts!
