If you look closely, you can see a white blaze definitive of the Appalachian Trail on a tree that has almost disappeared into the mist. I woke up on my thru-hike one morning in Georgia to find the ridge I was walking along covered in this cool mist. It was stunning. The world was quiet and solemn, perfect for hiking.
