As we embarked on our venture to the summit of Mount Cook, we were oblivious to the challenges that laid ahead. The wind torn peaks, rocky crags and occasional thunderous roars of an avalanche occurring in the distance all testing our resolve to conquer this notorious climb. Nevertheless we persevered and came away with one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives.
