Saw this fella doing a spot of fishing, fairly young I reckon as is a lot smaller that most of the others I've seen this year. Wasn't moving a whole heap so I broke out the tripod and decided to do some long exposure to get some smoothing of the water, tried to balance that with getting the heron as sharp as possible. Thought about doing it as a composite image but went with this in the end instead.
