I did take this photo in our home town in Romania, where all about photography started as well. That's the place I've started teaching myself everything about photography by trying out each perspective and various things that went through my mind.Time
Well we woke up pretty early at 5 or 6 in the morning and met after we had our coffee to get the most out of the light. But till we found the place we wanted to stay, it was already noon and pretty hot (something about 40 degrees) so we had to take a few breaks in between and we actually didn't really believe that we'll get something out of that much light :D But it worked.Lighting
Well what I actually learned about light, is that as long as you know your camera and exactly how to handle it, you can handle every situation. Sure, noon time isn't the best example for a shooting but it can also work. I personally like natural light. I don't use any reflectors because I think it gives a person sometimes sometimes unnatural. But each one's got his own opinion :) So like I said, if you know your equipment, you can work with every light. I also like night shootings outside, seeing the stars and some shadows that are hidden during the day. Cities get their own little flair just by the lights and lamps they got :) And this is what also catches me.Equipment
Well I used a Nikon D3200 until a few months ago. I love Nikon. But I switched to the sony alpha 7 iii using an sigma lens (28-70mm f 2. 8) for canon and the mc converter. I also shoot a lot on film and polaroid :) I simply love the feeling and tones of that oldschool babies :)Inspiration
Well most my inspiration comes from my models :) And everyone in front of my cam is my model. Each one of them unique and I'm always fascinated when they reinvent or recreate themselves on our sets with me. That's just my happy moment.Editing
Well I worked a bit in lightroom, kept the green out of the leaves (it's been way too much green there, though) and tried to lower a few highlights, so it doesn't look like it's way too much.In my camera bag
My sony alpha 7 iii using an sigma lens (28-70mm f 2. 8) for canon and the mc 11 converter. Two extra batteries and sd cards. My prism. 2 to 3 film cameras, batteries for them and of course some kodak films. And not to forget, my polaroid and a few 600 films :) Yeah and of course some extras like scarves, little mirrors or foils for that extra touch.Feedback
Well my biggest advice would be to avoid shooting in the noon time :D At least in a few countries, that could be very dangerous. Try to find a place where you feel good, that inspires you or maybe even gives you a little inner freedom. And if the connection between you and your model is good, you can create interesting pics together. Each one with their one creativity :)
