The only info I have on this young girl is what I was told by a couple of other young surfers whom I asked about her one day as I watched her surf the waves with amazing grace and almost dance like movements. This photo was taken as I was sitting on the sand and she walked past me unaware that I was even there, much less with a camera. She was totally focused on what she was doing not on a silly woman sitting all wet and sandy in the middle of some tide pools. I have gone back to the same tide pools and have yet to find her again. The only existing framed print of KoKo is hanging in the Carlsbad Village Pharmacy, in Carlsbad, Ca. They purchased it to put on their wall to show local photos of young people enjoying our wonderful beaches here at the coast. She is famous and does not even know it!!!!, billie dayTime

I was at the beach taking photos mostly of sea urchins but also of anything and all tings around me as I always do, and as she walked past me, I simply snapped the camera with hope that I had retained a good shot!Editing
