A friend who knew nothing of plants had been gifted this lovely lily. I wasn't sure if I could take care of it but said it's so beautiful that I'd give it a try. The plant has greeted me with many a brightened morning with it's beauty!

Location
This photo was taken as the plant sat on the kitchen table. I didn't want to clutter the picture with much so just let it sit by itself.Time
So in my kitchen the best light is the morning. I moved the plant to get a clear view of just the subject. I clicked of a few photos,turned the plant a few times with several more shotsLighting
No extra lighting was used. I love natural light!Equipment
The camera I used is a Sony a6300 with a 50mm 1.8 lens The setting were 1/80 sec at f4 with an iso of 1000. As I said I did take a number of shots at various angles and settings. No tripod was used.Inspiration
It had been a gift to a friend of mine and regifted to my care. I so enjoyed looking at it each day and was inspired to photograph it.Editing
I do use a post process but I try not to overdue. I may have done a bit of sharpening and structural enhancement. On occasion I might ad a bit of brightness but all in all I do very little.In my camera bag
In my bag I have a couple of lenses. I always carry a cleaning kit and a towel to help with lense changes.Feedback
This was kinda a planned photo. I think we all have a goal in mind when we get our camera out. So my advice... Take your time and enjoy the moment. I learn a great deal looking a pictures sent in Thank you all so much for sharing !
