Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is taken in my home-town Athiybari, which is located in eastern part of Nepal. I was just wandering in the rice fields and I was amazed to see to sunset and the dew in the rice plants.

Time

It was the time August evening about 4 or, 5 pm I guess, I Just wandering with my camera out in the paddy fields, I was struck by the beauty and the color of the sunset the yellowish color I couldn't resist on turning on my camera and capturing some of the moments I could see through my eyes and camera lens.

Lighting

yeah, it's worth sharing about the lights. I could see the flaming yellowish color of the sun setting in the west getting smaller and smaller but the lights it gave it was the moment of magic. Mother nature has never disappointed me especially in the time of sunset.

Equipment

This was shot in my Canon 750D, I didn't use any tripods or flash. I shot it with 18-55mm kit lens

Inspiration

previously, I saw a photo which had a similar type of composition I thinking the photographer used fish-eyed lens but I had just 18-55mm with me at that time so I tried to create the same type of composition with my style of a mix with 18mm focal length. the sun was setting so fast that I have to the photo so carefully so that neither of the composition I had in my mind had to be wrong. I tried to create a V symmetry in the paddy plant.

Editing

I did the post-processing in Adobe Lightroom. I shot it in Raw so that I can edit it much more easily in post-processing. I made only little changes like color correction and vignetting in the image.

In my camera bag

I am an amateur weeding and Landscape photographer who likes to travel places. I usually have 18-55mm for landscape and 50mm for portraits in my bag with a tripod and a prism.

Feedback

The key point of taking a great photo is believing in you and your camera equipment. Have sharp vision and idea for the composition while taking a photo.
