Always a dream to go to the iconic Maroon bells and photograph it, finally happened this September when we went for a fall color trip to Rocky Mountain National Park and Aspen. It is always advisable to go really early, like 4 am on a weekend to find a good spot to photograph this most captured peaks in north America. We reached at 5:15 am, and to no surprise, we were at the edge of the lake where the reflection of the peaks are blocked by the rocks in the foreground. However, I believe that put more elements in the picture rather than just plain reflection. There were intermittent clouds and the peaks did not light up as a whole. But I took several pictures and blended 20 of them to get the present view.
