Harvesting beans with two drivers and almost $1,000,000 worth of machinery. The equipment is so sophisticated it is driven, except for the turning around, by a GPS system that keeps it within 2 inches of where it should be. With this equipment they are able to harvest 17.23 acres per hour. The gentleman farmer was kind enough to allow me to join him for a bit. Amazing to watch from inside the cab. A truly magnificent piece of hardware. :-) BTW - the beans are sold locally, in China and in Japan, and grown just down the street, sort of, from where I live.
