This photo was taken on the Isle of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. I was there visiting with a childhood friend and recovering from significant loss of vision in my right eye. I am now legally blind in the right and close in the left from Behcet’s Vasculitis. Loving catching nature’s beauty I used this to inspire me to refuse going into a dark place to dwell and only push towards the light as I recovered there before returning home to the USA.Time
This was an afternoon shot... asked my friends to stop and let me walk up the hill as I use my instincts now, all of them. I’ll never forget the peace I felt taking that shot.Lighting
This is a natural photo... natural lighting.Equipment
My only camera is an iPhone 7.Inspiration
With my vision failing I use all my senses... I can feel when a shot is calling me. If you close your eyes and use all senses you would be surprised at the beauty you could catch!Editing
None... I’d love to learn. In my camera bag
Having one iPhone there is not much to carry. I pray this changes soon while I still have vision to work with.Feedback
My advice is to look for something that calls you closer... that intrigues you and stirs your soul. Chances are others may feel it, as well. Thank you for inquiring about my art. Donna Graham
