A Good Dog

This coyote was the smallest of our local pack of five. It would follow dog walkers and lure off-leash dogs into chasing it while the other four coyotes would hide in the brush surrounding the dogs and their owners. No dogs were ever harmed, they just got a good run. Cats, goats, and chickens weren't so fortunate.
We rescued this Rottweiler when she was about two. She was extremely loyal and well-behaved. She wouldn't leave our side and was excellent off-leash with voice commands.
This coyote would often follow us and sometimes just sit and watch us while I took photos. One time it even barked at us while we were sitting along the lake. It was very curious and perhaps wondered why our dog never gave chase.
