Awesome capture!

Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken at Lake Clark National Park in Alaska. It became a park 1991 and is across the inlet from Anchorage.
Time
It was around 5 or 6 in the evening.
Lighting
The lighting was natural light but had just a bit of a haze that day that let just a little light through to give the bear's coat a slight glow. The contrast was perfect against the dark sand.
Equipment
Nikon D750 with a Sigma 150mm - 600mm lens, and Promaster Tripod.
Inspiration
Just inspired by when the bears wanted to relax they just stopped and plopped down. They had been digging for clams.
Editing
the only processing on the photo was to lighten the color to enhance the fur.
In my camera bag
Nikon D850, Nikon D750 , Sigma 150-600mm lens, Tamron 24 - 70mm, Nikon 14 - 24, promaster tripod.
Feedback
my motto : "have patience, have fun and focus on the eye" if the eye is in focus your picture will be fine.
